Gothenburg/Malmö/Sundsvall-based CRAWL fundamentally embodies a creature reminiscent of old school death metal, yet stands equally firm with its other foot in blackened crust punk and grindcore. CRAWL has been a part of the scene since 2012 and has been acclaimed for its debut “Rituals” as well as the latest release “Altar Of Disgust” from Transcending Obscurity Records, which distinctly stands out from the death metal elite.
CRAWL sounds like a perverted cross between Skitsystem, Entombed, and Nails. Death is constantly present, and the atmosphere is grim. Apply some tiger balm to your neck because whiplash is guaranteed after CRAWL leaves the stage.
